Hyderabad: Cops created awareness on traffic

Hyderabad: As part of 30th Road Safety Week observed all over the country from February 4, 2019, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has organized traffic awareness programmes on traffic rules and road safety in 49 colleges and schools wherein 8730 student participated.

Hyderabad Traffic Police organised awareness programmes for school children, RTC drivers, auto drivers and citizens, and taught them various traffic rules and also on road  safety.

Bhaskar, Addl. DCP Traffic-I said, “From February 4 to 6,  2019, Traffic Police visited 49 schools and conducted awareness programmes for 8730 Students.  Programmes were also organized for other stake holders  like RTC bus depot, Setwin bus drivers, auto drivers and cab drivers”.  

These programmes will continue up to February 10, 2019.  During this  period Hyderabad Traffic Police will visit educational institutions to interact and impart traffic awareness in students added Bhaskar.
