Hyderabad cops to meet UIDAI officials, ECI

Hyderabad: A team of the Cyberabad police have left for Delhi to meet officials of the Uidai and Election Commission of India (ECI), in connection with the IT Grids India Pvt Ltd case. Their mission is to get confirmation on whether the data retrieved from the hard disks of IT Grids India was private or in the public domain.

Meanwhile, the police on Wednesday served fresh notices to Amazon Web Services, under Section 91 of the CrPC to share the data belonging to the IT Grids which was hosted on their servers. The police also questioned the whistleblower, T. Lokeshwara Reddy, who had lodged the complaint at the Madhapur police station alleging data breach.
