Vijayawada: Five kids get best science student award

Vijayawada: Five students were selected for the Best Science Student Award as part of the National Science Day celebrations on Wednesday.

The programme was organised by AP State Council of Science and Technology (APCOST) at SPSMC School, Vijayawada.

Speaking on the occasion, APCOST district coordinator M. Hussain said that about 240 Class X students from various schools participated in the best science student competition.

Of them, five students – M. Teja, Ch. Jyothika from SPSMC School, K. Bhargava Rama from MK Baig High School, D. Siva from RGMC School and B. Karthik from BVSR School won the award.

Mr Hussain said that these types of tests would help the students utilise their skills in the upcoming SSC public examination and other competitive exams.
