Medak: Man suffers heart attack while playing cricket, dies
He was taken to the government hospital in Husnabad, where doctors declared him dead
Hyderabad: A 35-year-old man died on the spot following a heart attack while playing cricket at Husnabad in Medak district on Friday. The deceased was identified as S. Anjaneyulu, a native of Sundaragiri of Karimnagar district.
Police said Anjaneyulu had come to participate in a cricket tournament being held at Husnabad in Medak district, where he used to stay. When he was playing cricket, he collapsed on the ground and became unconscious. The other players immediately rushed to him and provided cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
He was taken to the government hospital in Husnabad, which is located close to the ground, where doctors declared him dead. The doctors also declared Anjaneyulu had suffered a heart attack. Police were informed in connection with the issue and no case was registered as it was a natural death.
Police informed Anjaneyulu's wife Dhanalaxmi and his mother Mallavva. His father Nagaraju died a few years ago in Karimnagar.
