Jana Sena Vizag unit has chosen social media platform, Twitter, to vent their pressure on the Union government.
Visakhapatnam: In an indication that actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena has started to implement its mass contact programmes the party’s local unit is planning various protest programmes to bring pressure on the Union government to announce separate railway zone with Vizag as headquarters, which has become an emotive issue in this part of the state.
Jana Sena Vizag unit has chosen social media platform, Twitter, to vent their pressure on the Union government. Jana Sena members will ensure #RailwayZoneForVizag keep trending from Sunday morning onwards to bring heat on the Union government.
“Our leader had many times said that there has been no response from public for dharnas and rasta rokos. So without disturbing public we have decided to take the aspirations of the locals on the separate railway zone with Vizag as headquarters into the notice of Union ministers and the Prime Minister. We appeal all to use the hashtag and keep trending,” said Jana Sena coordinator, V. Satish.
He said that the separate railway zone issue has been there in Vizag and this region even before the state bifurcation and locals have been agitating for it quiet some time. He also said that Jana Sena would take up people’s issues and fight for their rights. Mr Satish further added that they would be distributing pamphlets on the tweeting programme so that everyone having a twitter handle tweet regarding the separate railway zone.
