Saddened by Krishnasamy's demise: Kamal Haasan
DMDK founder Vijayakanth too condoled the death & said the tragedy could have been averted had the CBSE allotted centres within TN for the candidates.
Chennai: Actor-politician Kamal Haasan's Makkal Needhi Maiam has condoled the death of Krishnasamy and said the party was "deeply saddened by the news of Kasthuri Mahalingam's father Krishnasamy's sudden demise."
"This truly is a tough time for the family. Makkal Needhi Maiam party president Kamal Haasan has personally spoken to the Chief Minister of Kerala Pinayari Vijayan and Cochin IG Vijay Sakhare to expedite the process for Krishnasamy's body to be brought back to Thiruthuraipoondi along with his son. Party president and MNM members are doing their best to provide assistance to the bereaved family," the party said in a release on Sunday.
