Heavy rain over next 4 days likely in Telangana and AP: Met Dept

Thunderstorms accompanied by squalls may occur at isolated places in several parts of Telangana from Tuesday.

Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorology Department has forecast heavy rainfall across all districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in the next 3-4 days. Thunderstorms accompanied by squalls may occur at isolated places in several parts of Telangana from Tuesday.

Light to moderate rainfall was witnessed at places in Karimnagar, Khammam, Adilabad, Hyderabad, Waran-gal and Ranga Reddy districts. Sarangapur in Karimnagar recorded 5 cm rainfall. At many places, the maximum temperature was between 35-40ºC. The maximum temperature was recorded at 43ºC in Adilabad and Hanamkonda.

In Andhra Pradesh, Visakhapatnam and Anakapalle recorded 5 cm rain each, while many places witnessed light to moderate rainfall.
