Velagapudi site gets internally connected
Officials, contractor told to complete works by the end of June.
Guntur: The construction of internal and approach roads to the temporary Secretariat at Velagapudi village in the capital city, Amaravati, is progressing at a brisk pace.
The officials said the construction of these roads would be completed by the end of this month.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials concerned and the contractors to complete the internal roads well before the employees come and begin work at the place.
The shifting of the Ssecretariat offices would commence from June 27 as announced by the chief minister.
The internal roads would connect all the buildings, parking places with the outside roads. The beautification of the roads is also under progress.
Continuous rain for the last few days has been hitting the works at the temporary Secretariat. The officials hope they can complete the works well before the scheduled time.
