Hyderabad: Following instances of student jumping to death from the terrace of their buildings, police commissioner Anjani Kumar has appealed to the owner of buildings and the resident welfare associations to keep the doors to terrace locked.

An 18-year-old girl jumped from the terrace of a building in Abids on Tuesday morning after she secured a poor rank in Neet.

“The loss of such a precious life at such a tender age, makes my heart heavy. We have to impart values to enjoy life in its entirety and not just academic centric,” Mr Anjan Kumar said.
