BJP Demands White Paper on Investments and Jobs in Telangana, Questions KTR's Claims

Hyderabad: The BJP has called on minister K.T. Rama Rao to publish a white paper on the state of investments in Telangana state in IT, and other industries, the details of land given to private companies for setting up their offices, or units, and details of permissions given under the TS-iPASS for setting up of industries, along with details of the number of local youth who got jobs in all companies set up in Telangana state after 2014.

Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member Dr K Laxman told reporters that Rama Rao is making up numbers on all these fronts and “if he is really sincere, he must release a white paper as we are asking”,  Laxman said.

He also said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s comment that his party will wipe out the BJP from Telangana in the Assembly elections, reflects the fact that it is the BJP which is the only real political force in the state now. “His comments prove that the Congress wants to protect the BRS party,” Laxman said.
