GUNTUR: Arrangements are in full swing for the YSRC national plenary in the Bible Mission grounds on July 8 and 9. A big dais is under construction on which 300 leaders can sit. The ceiling of the dias was decorated with YSRC party flag to attract the cadre. According to reports, political strategist Prashant Kishore will attend the plenary and give suggestions to the YSRC cadre about strengthening the party for winning the next elections.

The YSRC leaders, including MLC and senior leader Ummareddy Venka-teswarlu, MLAs Md Mustafa, A. Ramakrishna Reddy, K. Raghupathi, state spokesperson L. Appi Reddy, YSRC programmes committee convener T. Raghuram and others are camping at the venue and supervising the arrangements which neared to completion on Thursday.

The Bible Mission ground is very big to conduct public meetings. The Telugu Desam first started its election campaign Yuva Bheri before the elections and it came to the power. Later, N. Chandrababu Naidu assumed charge as the Chief Minister in 2014 and conducted Maha Sankalpam in the same ground. Mr Naidu last year participated in the Christmas celebrations in the same ground. Now the YSRC is going to conduct plenary in the ground.

According to the YSRC sources, a team of leaders led by Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, are preparing resolutions for the plenary to campaign about the failures of the TD government for the past three years. The absence of dole for unemployed youth, improper agriculture loan waiver, failure of pressurising election ally BJP-led union government for fulfilling bifurcation pro-mises, absence of development, no railway zone and other issues would be included in the plenary resolution. Big LED screens are arranged for viewing of the speeches of Mr Jagan and other leaders. YSRC would issue notification for the election of YSRC national president on July 8.
