Take back 24 section officers: AP government to Telangana

AP government contends the Centre has allocated the officers to TS. They have been relieved from service in TS, and not paid from February.

Hyderabad: The AP government has written to its Telangana state counterpart to absorb the 24 section officers who were allotted to Telangana as per the final allocation list issued by the Centre.

The officers have been relieved by TS but they are yet to be admitted and given posting orders by AP; they have not been getting their salaries from February 1.

The AP government said  that as per the final allocation list issued by the Centre, the 24 officers were allotted to Telangana state. As such they were employees of the TS government and would continue to be so, it said.

The AP government said it was the duty and responsibility of the TS government to continue the section officers in its service and pay them salaries. The AP government said it was not consulted by TS when they were relieved from service.
