Bengaluru: Ambulance first, VIP convoy later

The outgoing Vice President was in the city to attend a programme held at PES college in Hosakerehalli.

Bengaluru: In a second such incident in the city, the traffic police made way for an ambulance during the movement of Vice President Hamid Ansari’s convoy on Sunday afternoon.

The outgoing Vice President was in the city to attend a programme held at PES college in Hosakerehalli. Upon his return, the police had stopped vehicular movement. However,  around 1 pm, an ambulance got  stuck near Trinity Circle. An alert traffic police officer   allowed the ambulance to pass ahead of the VP’s convoy. The ambulance was heading to Hosmat Hospital.
