Lt General visits Telangana, Andhra Pradesh sub-area

The IT Initiatives of TASA is likely to be adopted PAN India to benefit more than 52 Lakh ECHS beneficiaries.

Hyderabad: Lieutenant General Anil Kapoor, Director General, Information Systems from Army Head Quarters visited Telangana and Andhra sub-area on Monday to study the Information Technology initiatives on Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS). 

The General Officer was briefed about the Online Appointment Application, Medicine Inventory Management System (MIMS) and also the Central Monitoring System (CMS) that is under development.

“The Central Monitoring system, exploiting the Information technology, captures data from all modules and collates information facilitating real time analytics and MIS reports which will bring accountability, transparency of operations and support from higher management for enhanced control. It also enables the managerial roles to take data driven decisions,” said sub area chief Major General N. Srinivas Rao.

The IT Initiatives of TASA is likely to be adopted PAN India to benefit more than 52 Lakh ECHS beneficiaries. It includes  ECHS Doctor Appointment Booking Application and Integrated Medicine Inventory Management System.
