Andhra Pradesh: Team work key to success, says Anil Kumar Singhal

Tirupati: The pilgrims across the country who thronged Tirumala during the annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara during last week complimented TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal and his team of officials and employees for making elaborates arrangements for the mega religious fete.
The laurels poured on TTD by the devotees during the monthly Dial your EO program held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday.
While the TTD EO was taking the calls from the pilgrims in this hour long programme, devotees lauded the efforts of TTD towards an incident free Brahmotsavams in spite of heavy turnout of pilgrims crowd especially during Garuda Seva.
Responding to their compliments the TTD EO said, it was possible with the team work of all officials and employees, co-ordination between vigilance and police and above all the co-operation from pilgrims.
A caller Srinivasa Naidu from Kurnool brought to the notice of EO about the hiked rates charged by shopkeepers in Tirumala and suggested TTD to fix the rates on eatables and also on the fares of buses plying between Tirupati and Tirumala. The EO responded to him that squads will be sent at regular intervals to shops.
A pilgrim caller Srinivasa Rao from Tenali sought the EOs advice to upcoming students who have expertise in Annamaiah Sankeertans and give them an opportunity to perform on Nada Neerajanam platform during morning slots. Welcoming the suggestion, the EO said they will look into it.
Another caller Srinivasa Rao from Vizag sought EO to allot a quota of rooms in on-line during festive occasions like Brahmotsavams.
For this the EO, Mr Singhal replied that the TTD has not completely cancelled the online accommodation but has reduced the quota during the peak season.
