Telangana officials to teach 10 start-ups

The programme has received over 200 applications from all over the country, of which 10 start-ups have been shortlisted.

Hyderabad: As many as 10 start-ups have been selected by the Telangana state Innovation Cell for the government mentorship programme. Through this programme spearheaded by the ITE&C department, start-ups will be mentored by government officials for three months where they will be guided to make their products provide solutions for better governance. This is a first of its kind programme in the country which aims at building familiarity between start-ups and government officials.  

The programme has received over 200 applications from all over the country, of which 10 start-ups have been shortlisted. These startups are Lakeer, Precily, Stumagz, Kaarmic Education Services, Raasta Studios, Red matter, RHPD Software Solutions, Thanos, Legitdoc and IOT Research Labs

The solutions will focusing on Big Data, machine learning and artificial intelligence, Media, Content and several other emerging technologies which are potentially useful for solving various problems for the government.
