CBSE releases schedule for PWD category

Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the schedule for students seeking exemptions or concessions under PWD category. The exemptions and concessions are for students with benchmark disability.

These students from Class 10 and Class 12, appearing for Board exams are allowed to avail the exemptions through requests. The schools have to send all the requests received by the students who want to seek the exemptions to CBSE before the last date of submission.

The schedule starts off with the schools informing the PWD candidates about the exemptions and concessions extended by the Board during annual examinations. The Board has extended the date of sending the information for exemptions and concessions till November 22, 2018.

The parents or students can make the request for the exemptions and concessions to their school via proper documentation after 15 days of official notice. The entire process will take a period of around two months from the date of intimation from school to students. The Board has instructed all the schools to notify the entire schedule on the school's official notice board.
