Hyderabad: Traffic block at shalimaar T-junction
Additional commissioner of police (Traffic) Jitender said two and four wheelers would be allowed on the route.
Hyderabad: Traffic will be diverted for a week from 10 pm on Wednesday to 6 am on December 13 to facilitate the construction of a pier of the Hyderabad Metro Rail at Big Bazaar near Shalimaar T-Junction at Ameerpet. Additional commissioner of police (Traffic) Jitender said two and four wheelers would be allowed on the route.
Traffic other than heavy vehicles from Krishnanagar, Indiranagar and Srinagar Colony heading to Ameerpet will not be allowed towards Shalimaar T Junction and will be diverted into bylane of GHMC Park (opposite Zeenath Residency) at GHMC Park, Srinagar Colony road.
They will reach the normal route after taking a left turn at Park View GS Construction building, right turn at Goutham Chicken Cen-tre and Image Hospital lane.
Traffic from Erragadda, SR Nagar and Ameerpet towards Punjagutta and Khairatabad, will be allowed on half the other side of the road opposite Big Bazaar up to Shalimaar T junction.
Heavy vehicles from Khairatabad and Punja-gutta will not be allowed towards Ameerpet at Shalimaar T Junction. They will be diverted into the free left at Shalimaar T Junction, proceed up to the lane behind Big Bazaar, take a right turn and join the normal route at the entry-exit of Big Bazaar.Buses on the following route numbers will be diverted on the same route: 218, 225, 9, 9M, 9X,9/F, 189M,19/F,158, 113, 19J,19M, 185, 19K/J.
