Vishakhapatanam: Andhra Pradesh is likely to get some more during next week, according to a forecast of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Amaravati on Monday.

A clear picture, she said, would be known by December 8.
The IMD director said coastal Andhra Pradesh will witness rainfall on December 9 and December 10, and Rayalaseema on December 11 and December 12.
The director added that the trough could activate the northeast monsoons which entered the southern peninsula on October 25 after the departure of Southwest monsoons. Rayalaseema remained dry due to inactive north eastern monsoons, which brings rains to the region and Tamil Nadu.
She further said that the systems brought good amounts of rainfall to AP since the southwest monsoons set in over the State in June.
There was a low pressure in June, a low pressure and well marked low pressure in July, two more low pressure areas in August, one low pressure, one depression and cyclone Gulab in September, two low pressures in October, two depressions in November and cyclone Jawad in December, she added.
Heavy rains in the southern states recently, meanwhile, has already affected prices of many vegetables.
According to the data of Union consumer affairs ministry, retail prices of tomato have skyrocketed to a high of Rs 140 per kg in some parts of southern India as supplies have been hit due to heavy rains.
