Jokes in social media on Desam debacle

Vijayawada: Post failure of Telugu Desam in the GHMC elections, TD general secretary Nara Lokesh and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu have become two characters of fun on social media.

Several Facebook pages run by supporters of TRS and YSRC targeted the father and son duo soon after the elections results proved that TD got only ‘one’ seat in Hyderabad.

Nara Lokesh who campaigned extensively for the elections is being made responsible for the failure. He was attributed with No. 1 status for the one seat he won. The duo was being ‘trolled’ with jokes and parody situations from movies.

One post by the page Dirty Politics suggests Mr Naidu to sell of NTR Trust Bhavan through Olx.

CM Naidu’s claims of building Hyderabad from scratch also became a point of fun.

“While KTR scored 99, Nara Lokesh completed the century by scoring one”, says another post. Incidentally the pictures and posts are being shared widely on Facebook and other media.
