Film-makers succeeded in using centuries old locations.

Anantapur: Interior parts - hills and forts from Rayalaseema districts are turning into shooting locations after the film makers discovered its virgin beauty. A fresh new change from locations like Talakona in Chittoor district and Hampi, the Vijayanagara capital located in Bellary district in Karnataka used regularly for the film shootings.

After the state division, the movie makers are concentrating on new locations in the residuary AP particularly the Rayalaseema region.

Young hero Nani's movie 'Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gatha' opted for new locations for the first time in the film industry. Madaka-sira hill and fort has beco-me the attractive locations in Anantapur district.

The hill top area of Madakasira, familiar as Simhagiri has old structures including burujs were used for shooting the film. "This was the first time, the film makers succeeded in using centuries old locations," said youngster Anjankumar Yadav, from Madakasira. The entire movie unit had taken the risk of climbing the hill with no other mode of transport.

The five-century-old locations during Sri Krishnadevaraya kingdom caught the fancy of the unit. They have also used the historic Lepakshi temple and attractive locations in Anantapur district for the movie.

Short film maker and also Guinness record holder Vinod Rajendra from Hindupur observed there were a variety of locations available for movies in the Rayalaseema region as background. After the state division, the film makers have been searching for interesting locations in the region, sources said.
