Ready to face trust vote: Karnataka CM
Mr Kumaraswamy said it could not tolerate good governance provided by the coalition.
Bengaluru: Irked by sloganeering of BJP MLAs in the Assembly, CM H.D Kumaraswamy on Thursday offered to face a trust vote if these legislators call off their protest in the House.
He told the media outside the Assembly: “Either the BJP should move a no confidence motion against me or allow me to face a trust vote. After an unsuccessful attempt to bring down the government through ‘Operation Lotus’, the BJP is trying to send a wrong signal to people by disrupting proceedings in the House. The BJP, which is saying that I have lost majority, should prove its majority inside the House.” Charging the BJP with disrupting the House as a prelude to LS polls, Mr Kumaraswamy said it could not tolerate good governance provided by the coalition.
