Hyderabad: Hate-filled Facebook posts by an inspector with the Central Board of Excise and Customs, done in Hyderabad on the JNU row, have been ignored by the department. The posts have gone viral, with hundreds of people sharing them and commenting about a public servant reacting to political issues.
On his FB page, inspector Ratan Deep demanded that people supporting JNU Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar should be hanged. Both the inspector and Kanhaiya hail from Bihar.
In a post on March 5, he wrote: “Hey sons of swines and children of prostitutes, will you make your sister and mother prostitutes and will you say ‘Jai’ to those who pay for them, instead of saying Bharat Mata Ki Jai? Hey dogs and sudras (sic), (followed by more explicit abusive words) call me for a debate in media with these children of prostitutes (sic).”
Customs says Ratan was in department
Central Board of Excise and Customs confirmed that Ratan Deep was with the department. No departmental action has been initiated against him for the posts so far.
In a post on March 4, he had posted, “Supporting Kanhaiya dog means supporting your mother’s lover and cheating your father. (I am very angry, I am writing these things). Those who are supporting this rascal should be hanged. Leaders like Nitish and Lalu and all those, who are supporting this dog, should be beaten by slippers on road.”
These two posts were picked up by various Facebook pages including ‘Subramanyam Swami- unofficial’, and reposted with a title ‘Sanskaari Language by an Inspector’.
On February 13, the inspector had posted: “Boycot and kill these bastards and India will be great. Nitish, Rahul, Lalu, Mamta, Mulayam, Akhilesh, above all Khujliwal (Kejriwal) and two dogs Owaisi (brothers) and dog Vijay Kumar Singh. It is sure that their fathers must be pakistanis (sic).”
