YSRC starts mega campaign survey to meet 1.65 crore families in AP

 VIJAYAWADA: The ruling YSR Congress launched an extensive two-week mega interaction campaign styled ‘Jagananne Maa Bhavishyatthu’ on Friday, to directly interact with the people across the state.

Education minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Rajya Sabha MP Alla Ayodhya Ramireddy, MLC Marri Rajasekhar and Lok Sabha MP Sanjeev Kumar jointly launched the campaign at the YSRC Central Office in Tadepalli. The minister said, "Never in this country has any political party dared to go to the public and seek a review of its government’s performance. We are confident of our work and of the people’s support and so we will present you the result of this mega people’s survey when the campaign culminates on April 20."

Minister Satyanarayana said close to seven lakh grassroots workers would be reaching out to all the 1.65 crore households in the state from April 7 to 20, covering the entire five crore population. The seven lakh participants consist of the newly appointed Gruha Sarathis and ward sachivalayam conveners, who would conduct the door-to-door survey. Collecting the public’s wishes and opinions would help CM Jagan to render more services to the state’s people in future, he said.

Botsa Satyanarayana listed four key elements of the survey including a comparison of the YSRC and TD rules, Praja Maddathu Pusthakam or a survey questionnaire for feedback, the door and mobile stickers and a Missed call on 8296082960.

“The people will be asked if they trust CM Jagan for their future. This survey will cover all, irrespective of their caste, religion and region. We will share the results of the survey with you all on April 20." MLC Marri Rajasekhar said the groundwork for the campaign kick-started a few months ago.
 
Ramireddy praised the party cadre for all the hard work they put in in the past few months. Lok Sabha MP Sanjeev Kumar said the ‘Maa Nammakam Nuvve Jagan' slogan came from the public itself during the party’s Gadapa Gadapaku programme.
