Rural schools shine in CBSE Class X exams
The schools in the rural areas too fared well in the examination, the results of which were announced on Monday.
Kochi: Students of Kochi schools bagged top ranks in the CBSE Class X Board examinations with Easha A. Pai of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar, bagging third rank at the national level by securing 99.4 per cent marks.
Rhea Rebecca Abin of TocH Public School, Vyttila, and Elvina Ann Charly of Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi School, Kakkanad, secured the fourth rank at the national level (496 out of 500).
The schools in the rural areas too fared well in the examination, the results of which were announced on Monday.
Out of 88 students of the Lisieux English School, Vaikom, who sat for the examination, 45 secured Distinction, 27 scored above 90 per cent marks in all subjects and four A1 in all subjects.
Marygiri Public School, Koothattu-kulam, achieved cent percent results with 43 out of the 122 students securing above 90 per cent marks in all subjects. The Warwin School, Vaikom, Sree Sankara Vidhyalayam Senior Secondary school, Vaikom, and the Jama-ath English Medium Public School, Cherthala, also had all their students pass in the examination.
