Hyderabad: YSR Congress would file cheating cases against the AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in all police stations across the state on June 8 for his alleged failure to fulfil his poll promises. YSRC spokesperson K. Parthasaradhi told the media on Tuesday that the Chief Minster has failed to do anything for the people while Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has been with the people throughout, to highlight the failures of the government, and now we will file cases in all police stations.

He said the filing of cases was to highlight Mr Naidu’s failures and the way in which the TD had deceived the people on the poll promises. Mr Naidu has wilfully defaulted on the poll promises. “He gave in writing that he had the experience and had taken into account the feasibility of the promises he made in the election manifesto, and asserted that they were practical and could be implemented, when he was questioned by the Election Commission about the veracity of his promises. However, after coming to power, he did not give a thought to it. This is nothing short of cheating of the people and we are fling cases in all police stations.”

Meanwhile, YSRC MLA RK Roja told the media that Naidu was the most corrupt Chief Minister and that he was having his personal agenda to pursue, instead of working for people’s welfare. She said Naidu and his son Lokesh had institutionalised corruption.“The CM has done nothing after coming to power in the past two years other than pursuing his personal interests,” Roja said, adding that Naidu’s son Lokesh had become an extra-constitutional authority and the father-son duo was on a collection spree.
