Special darshan at TTD for aged, parents
This provision will be given every month for a couple of days to pilgrims in this category.
Tirupati: On July 18 and 25 a total of 4,000 darshan tokens will be issued in three slots for the physically challenged and senior pilgrims visiting the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. The first slot of 1,000 tokens will be issued at 10 am, at 2 pm another 1,000 tokens and the last 1,000 tokens at 3pm.
On July 19 and 26, parents with infants and children below 5 years will be allowed through the Supadham entry from 9 am to 1.30 pm. This provision will be given every month for a couple of days to pilgrims in this category.
Speaking to media in Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala EO Anil Kumar Singhal said, “There are many requests from parents of children below 5 years, disabled and elders.
All of them have to stand for hours in long que’s. We request the elderly and parents to utilise the special days allotted for them every month. ”
