Hyderabad High Court given revised DSC merit list

Hyderabad: The school education department of Telangana state on Tuesday placed the revised merit list of the DSC 1998 before the Hyderabad High Court.
Justice P. Naveen Rao while dealing with a contempt case seeking to punish the authorities for not implementing the orders to publish the revised merit list of DSC 1998 by rectifying the mistakes, had directed the school education commissioner of Telangana state to publish it before August 6.
When the revised list was placed before the court, the judge pointed out as to how the authorities could prepare the merit list now, when the court had earlier ordered to publish the revised merit list before August 6, they informed the court that while some records were not available, some got burnt.
Government counsel A. Sanjeev Kumar informed the court that three candidates from Nalgonda and six from Karimnagar got placed in the revised list.
The counsel for the petitioner urged the court to direct the authorities to furnish the copy of the revised list to them to compare it with the earlier list.
While directing the authorities to furnish the copy of the revised list to the petitioners , the judge posted the case to Friday.
