Punjab: BSF seizes arms, 25 kg heroin along Indo-Pak border
The ammunition and drug were allegedly smuggled in to India by Pakistani nationals, the Border Security Force said.

Amritsar: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday said it has seized 25kg of heroin and ammunition allegedly smuggled in by Pakistani nationals along the Indo-Pak border.
BSF DIG RS Kataria said the incident took place on Wednesday night when a patrol party of the border guarding force noticed suspicious movement near a border outpost.
The BSF personnel immediately rushed to the spot, where 25 kg of drug and ammunition were found, he said.
One automatic pistol, one magazine, six live bullets, one mobile set loaded with two Pakistani SIM cards were recovered from the spot, the DIG said, adding that no arrest has been made as the smugglers escaped.
