Hyderabad: CCMB to host congress on cell biology in January 2018

Hyderabad: Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology will host the International Congress of Cell Biology in January 2018 in Hyderabad. Three leading life science organisations International Federation for Cell Biology (IFCB), Asian Pacific Organisation for Cell Biology (APOCB) and Indian Society of Cell Biology (ISCB) will partcipate in ‘Dynamic Cell: From Molecules and Networks to Form and Function’.

Leading researchers from around the world will actively participate in the international congress which will be an excellent platform for cell biologists from around the globe. Basic researchers and the biotech industry are not the only stakeholders who will benefit from this meeting.

Clinical translation sessions will highlight opportunities for the medical community, particularly paving way for developing clinicial scientists and focusing attention on unmet medical needs with advanced cell biological solutions. 

The opportunities for advanced education are manifold. Students will receive inspiration and practical input from experts assembled from different parts of the  globe. About 1,000 participants are expected to partcipate in the five day program emphasising discovery, innovation, education, policy and outreach.
