Every house to be covered under health camps from Sept. 15: NTR dist. collector

Vijayawada: Collector Dr S. Dilli Rao on Thursday said health camps would be conducted from September 15 to 30 in NTR district.

As part of the drive, community health officers, including anganwadi workers, auxiliary nurses and midwives will visit every household to conduct health tests, he said.

He said the tests would be conducted under the Jagananna Arogya Suraksha Scheme.

Dilli Rao said when health problems are detected, they would be registered in a care-sheet and uploaded online.

Besides specialist doctors of government hospitals, specialist doctors attached to corporate hospitals under Aarogyasri would also participate in the camps.
