Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will be in New Delhi on Saturday to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union finance minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday to discuss the issue.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has directed officials to ensure one lakh pilgrims can have a hassle-free darshan of Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.

The Chief Minister held a review meeting on the progress of the Yadadri temple development plan with senior officials on Monday. “Funds have been mobilised and land acquired. The time has arrived to go ahead with construction as per the plan,” he said.

Mr Rao suggested building a a presidential suite on the north-eastern side, four-lane roads in all directions leading to the hill, and one-way roads heading up and down the hill.

He told officials to construct a shopping complex for traders who gave up their properties. He wanted officials to acquire 85 acres of forest land in Yadadri for the project.
