Hyderabad: 4-year-old goes missing
Police said the mother K. Sunitha, along with her husband and two children, lives under a flyover at Mahbubnagar crossroads.
Hyderabad: A four-year-old girl belonging to the family of pavement dwellers went missing on Saturday afternoon after her mother reportedly went to a toddy shop near Mahbub-nagar crossroads under Chandrayangutta police station limits.
Police said the mother K. Sunitha, along with her husband and two children, lives under a flyover at Mahbubnagar crossroads. Her husband is a daily wage labourer. On Saturday, after her husband left for work, she went to the nearby toddy shop to consume toddy, leaving her seven-year-old son and four-year-old girl below the flyover. When she came back after 15 minutes, she found her daughter missing.
When she asked her son about it, he could not say where his sister had gone. Sunitha then searched all the nearby places but did not find her. She then approached police and lodged a complaint.
Chandrayangutta police have booked a case of kidnap under section 363 IPC. Further investigation is underway.
