GHMC Commissioner Receives Illegal Construction Complaints at Praja Darbar

 Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner Ronald Rose for the first time received two complaints related to illegal constructions at the Praja Darbar held at Praja Bhavan under the aegis of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday.

“We are yet to receive all the complaints related to GHMC which were submitted at the Praja Darbar,” said a senior official from the civic body.

Earlier, complaints related to illegal constructions used to be raised at Prajavani, a programme held in GHMC head office on Mondays to redress citizens’ grievances.

During Prajavani, the GHMC commissioner in the presence of the heads of Departments of all wings of the corporation used to hear grievances of people. It was abandoned citing Covid-19 restrictions since March 2020 and was not resumed.
