TV anchor Pradeep Machiraju attends counselling

Hyderabad: TV anchor Pradeep Machiraju, caught for drunk driving at Jubliee Hills during a special drive on the night of December 31, turned up for counselling at the Traffic Training Institute in Goshamahal on Monday. He had a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) count of 178mg when he was caught on New Year’s eve, police said. 

Mr Pradeep reached the counselling centre at TTI Goshamahal along with his father Mr Pandurangam and attended the session with 70-80 others charged with drunken driving. Police filed a chargesheet and will produce him in court soon.

Goshamahal TTI inspector G. Harish said, “Pradeep’s BAC count was higher than 100 and so the police will release his car after the court proceedings.
