Hyderabad: In a relief to the TS government, the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday vacated the stay on construction of Adivasi Bhavan, Banjara Bhavan and Babu Jagjivan Ram Bhavan at Road No 10, Banjara Hills of the city. Earlier, the High Court has granted status quo as there was a dispute between private parties and the government with regard to the title of the land.

After the government decided to construct the three bhavans in plot No. 24 on Road No 10 in Banjara Hills, one Ramesh P. Malani moved the High Court claiming that he held the title over the land that was declared evacuee property. The HC had on December 31, 2014 ordered status quo on the properties.

The state government moved an application seeking to vacate the interim orders. A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice Shameem Akhter vacated the interim order by making it clear that any construction or allotment of land in question was subject to final outcome of the petition pending before it.
