A senior minister has shared that there isn't scope to break alliance with the NDA as it can't go with the UPA and the chances of third force formation are very less.

Visakhapatnam: The members of All India Dalit Rights Forum (AIDRF) claimed that atrocities against dalits and minorities have increased after Telugu Desam came to power.

They said that the number of crimes against dalits have increased during the past three-and-half years.

“Atrocities on dalits have taken place in Garagaparru village in West Godavari district, Peda Gottipadu village in Guntur district and recently in Jerripothupalem village of Vizag. But, the government has failed in taking necessary steps to avoid such incidents,” AIDRF founder and national president K.Ananda Rao said here on Thursday.

He said, “Moreover, the state government is supporting Ramachandrapuram MLA Thota Trimurthulu who was involved in two-decade-old dalit tonsure case of Venkatayapalem in East Godavari. The ruling party announced themselves as ‘Dalita Tejam–Telugu Desam’. At the same time, it is doing injustice to dalits in Lakshmipeta village of Srikakulam district.”

The dalit leader also accused BJP government for attacks on minorities across the country. He blamed the Centre for atrocities against Dalits.
