Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday told Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, to decide on examination pattern at the beginning of an academic to avoid unnecessary confusion.

The court said after dismissing a batch of petitions filed by SSLC students appearing for this year's final examination starting from Thursday. They had approached the court challenging the government’s alleged decision to change the exam pattern.

The court dismissed the petition after the state government made it clear that there will be no change in the question paper pattern for this year’s SSLC examination.

It said that instead of one booklet having both questions and space to write answers, the board this year would provide a separate question paper sheet, that students can take home after the exam.
