Man, 65, ends life at Malakpet metro station

HYDERABAD: A 65-year-old man jumped from the under construction Malakpet Metro station and committed suicide in the wee hours on Thursday morning. His body was found on the ground by a passerby in the morning who alerted the police. 

A case has been registered at Malakpet police station. The L&T Metro officials state that they are not aware and will check on how the man climbed up to the Metro station. There are camera’s placed, but as the corridor is not operational very little monitoring is done. .

An internal inquiry is being conducted by the L&T Metro rail to know how the man came to the under construction Metro station.
