Chandrababu Naidu, Dattatreya to launch VIMS
A Model Park will be developed in every GVMC ward.
Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Union labour minister Bandaru Dattatreya will inaugurate the Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) and lay foundation stone for the Employee State Insurance (ESI) hospital which is being built at a cost of Rs 500 cr in Vizag on April 11, informed HRD minister Ganta Srinivas Rao. The minister, who participated in the Ugadi celebrations in the city on Friday, said a Model Park will be developed in every GVMC ward.
Earlier, the minister visited a park at Panduragapuram. The vision of CM Chandrababu Naidu would be adopted in developing parks, especially to transform colony parks into eco-rich and user-friendly green centres, he said.
The Pandurangapuram Colony Park has all such marks of CM’s ambition and would be carved into a model park with all amenities for colony residents of all ages, the minister added.
Mr Srinivasa Rao complimented the Vuda and residents welfare association for joining together to develop the space with state-of-the art facilities. The CM will be invited to visit the Park during his next tour to Visakhapatnam, he said.
