Hyderabad: Heat wave conditions claimed eight lives in Telangana on Friday, taking the death toll in the state to 90.

While three people died in Nalgonda district due to sunstroke, two deaths were reported from Warangal district, two from Karimnagar and one from Nizamabad districts. In Nalgonda, Jella Eshwaramma (78) of Ve-mulapalli, K Gopaiah (85) of Neredcharal and Pujala Buchamma of Tungaturthi died of sunstroke.
