Hyderbad: 5 kids drown in open well

Hyderbad: Five girls including three from a family drowned in an open well at Nagaradoddi village where they had gone for a swim on Monday.
According to the police, the victims were part of a large group of children who had gone to the well in the outskirts of the village. The incident occurred when one of the children began drowning. In trying to rescue her, the other children drowned.
Other children who had not entered the water rushed to their village to ask for help. By the time the others reached the well, it was too late. Locals, police and fire personnel later recovered the bodies of the children.
Police identified the deceased as Yamuna, 12, Bujji, 8, U. Chinnari, 10, from the same family, Kavitha, 12, and Chinnari, 9, from Nagaradoddi village.
A case was registered under Section 174 (suspicious death) of CrPC and further investigation is underway. Police sent the bodies to the government hospital for postmortem.
