Karnataka Milk Federation launches 23 varieties of ice-creams
For the current season, KMF has set a sales target of 25,000 litres per day and is expanding its reach to neighbouring states.
Bengaluru: Karnataka Milk Federation on Monday launched 23 new varieties of Nandini ice-creams taking the total number of flavours being offered to 115. For the current season, KMF has set a sales target of 25,000 litres per day and is expanding its reach to neighbouring states.
KMF has also drawn up a plan to increase sales by selling ice-creams through tricycles and mobile vans near parks, event venues, trade fairs, exhibitions, and also at supermarkets and retail outlets. Efforts are on to cover Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra.
The new ice-creams were launched at an event attended by M.T. Kulkarni, Director (Marketing), G.T. Gopal, MD, Bangalore Milk Union, Gopalaiah, MD, Hassan Milk Union, Suresh Kumar, Direcotr (admin), Ramesh Kunnur, Director (Finance), and Prasanna Kumar, Director, quality assurance.
