Chennai: The state government on Sunday posted S Maheswaran, as superintendent of police, Q branch. The sensitive post had been kept vacant in last few months by police administrators.
In the latest shuffle of SPs, the home department posted Pradip Kumar, as deputy commissioner, law and order, Tirunelveli. S Rajeswari, SP, has been asked take charge as SP, special units, CB-CID in the place of A Radhika, who has been posted as Madurai City DC, law and order.
Dr J Lognathan, has been posted as SP, CB-CID. G Subbulakshmi, has been given the post of Commandant, TSP, VII battalion Pochampalli in place of R Ramakrishnan, who has been transferred and posted as DC, crime and traffic, Salem city.
E S Uma will be the new principal of the police training college while S Lakshmi has been asked to take charge as DC, law and order, Coimbatore. N M Mylvahanan has been posted as SP, enforcement, Chennai.
