Goa likely to receive rains on May 11: MeT

Panaji: Goa state is likely to receive rains or thundershowers on May 11, the meteorological department (MeT) has said.
The daily weather report for the state released on Monday mentioned that rains or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Goa on May 11.
"Dry weather is very likely to prevail for the remaining days of the week," the report said.
Goa witnessed maximum temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius on Monday, which was 0.3 degree higher than yesterday, the MeT said.
The humidity in the state was recorded at 71 per cent, the weatherman said.
Goa receives South-West monsoon during the first week of June every year.
