New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from Guwahati on the occasion of completion of three years of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre on May 26.

The first anniversary of the BJP-led Assam government will also be celebrated on May 26.

Assam state BJP unit President Ranjeet Kumar Das said, the first anniversary of the BJP-led Assam government will also be celebrated at the same function.

He said, the decision of the Prime Minister to address the nation from Guwahati reflects the commitment of the Centre towards the North East.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Dhola Sadiya bridge and also lay foundation stones of two premium institutes on that day.

The Sarbanand Sonowal-led Assam government will complete its first year in power on May 24.
