Six dead as auto hits bus at Fakheerabad

All the dead belong to the Rajivnagar colony in Nizamabad.

Nizamabad: Six persons were killed and a pregnant woman was seriously injured in a road accident at Fakheerabad on Wednesday.

The incident occurred when the autorickshaw in which the victims were traveling on the Nizamabad-Basar road hit an RTC bus. Three persons died on the spot and three others died at the government hospital in Nizamabad.

The dead are Ganesh, 28, his daughter Gangothri, 2, and sister Ruchitha, 15, Satyarayana, an RTC conductor at the Banswada depot and his son two-year-old Swasthik and relative Nitish, 19. All the dead belong to the Rajivnagar colony in Nizamabad.

The seriously injured 7-month pregnant Rachana was shifted to Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. It is believed auto driver Ganesh lost control and hit the bus as he was speeding.
