Telangana: Civic bodies to tie up with ICICI Bank
The bank would help in collection of non-revenue amounts.
Hyderabad: ICICI Bank has come forward to partner with the municipal administration to develop payment gateways for various services offered by the civic body such as payment of property tax and other non-tax revenue collection.
The TS municipal administration department conducted a workshop on Thursday in which all commissioners from urban local bodies took part. The director of municipal administration T.K. Sreedevi said that ICICI Bank has expressed its readiness to partner with the municipal administration depar-tment for the development of payment gateway for various services offered by the municipal department. During the workshop, Sreedevi spoke about the importance of e-governance and rolling out citizen services centres in all urban local bodies.
