2 held for abusing H D Kumarswamy, H D Deve Gowda on video
The duo used abusive language and the video soon went viral on social media.
BENGALURU: High Grounds police have arrested two people for shooting a video verbally abusing JD(S) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda, Chief Minister H.D. Kumarswamy and his son Nikhil, and uploading it on Facebook.
The arrested have been identified as Siddaraju (29), hailing from Ramanagara district, and Chamaraju (24), from Singarajpur in Channapatna. While Siddaraju is employed at a petrol bunk, Chamaraju is a mechanic.
The two friends shot the video after May 23 Lok Sabha election results. The duo used abusive language and the video soon went viral on social media.
A complaint was filed at the High Grounds police station by Lokesh, calling for action against miscreants. After the complaint, the police traced and arrested the culprits.
