Telangana government forms panel for Kaloji Narayana Rao award
The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1,01,116.

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Tuesday constituted a five-member committee for selecting eminent personality eligible for the 2017 Kaloji Narayana Rao award.
Nandini Sidha Reddy, chairman of Telangana Sahitya Academy will head the panel. Other memberson the panel are Deshapathi Srinivas, OSD to chief minister and Mamidi Harikrishna, director, department of culture.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1,01,116. Poet, writer and singer Goreti Venkanna was presented with the award in 2016. In 2015, well-known writer Ammangi Venugopal was presented the award.
